Mounts are used to make handling of awkward components easier in production.</p> <p><strong>Bobbin:</strong> Transformers and Inductors. Leaded bobbins. Windings on printed circuit bobbin with core attached. Many available in surface mount.</p> <p>Popular Surface Mount bobbins, through Holes types for through hole mounts, are for mounting wound inductor, choke, or transformer coils.</p> <h4>Features of ferrite bobbin EFD</h4> <p>Bobbin EFD is belong to  core with bobbin , and has the features of Low profile. Rectangular center leg, hence higher means length per turn (MLT). Terminating multi-filar windings to EFD bobbin pins is difficult. The advantage of using ferrite bobbin EFD is lower cost and ease in manufacturing, especially for high volume. Because of lower cost, if the volume is very large, ferrite bobbin EFD custom transformer is the way to go. There are Horizontal orientation with through-holes and surface-mount terminals.
